PAC Indians Bow Out @ Sub-state

The Pocahontas Area boys basketball team suffered a season ending defeat at the hands of Forest City on Saturday, February 28th.   The Indians advanced to the sub-state game in Algona by defeating Southeast Valley and St. Eds.  Forest City outscored Pocahontas by 13 points in the 1st quarter.  That deficit proved to be a deciding factor in the game because the ending score was 70-55 in favor of Forest City.  Tanner Youngberg led the Indians with 15 points, and Aaron Aljets added 12 points.  The Indians placed third in the Twin Lakes Conference, and ended the season with an overall record of 18-6.
