Leonardo da Vinci would most likely ask me to work on most, if not all, of my letters. It might have been natural for him because he didn't want people to read what he had written. In his notebooks he drew plans for inventions and wouldn't have wanted anyone to find the notebook and steal his ideas, so he wrote backwards. After a while he was so used to writing backwards that it just became habit.
