          When you go higher in the atmosphere a It gets colder, hotter, colder.  The pressure gets stronger as you go higher in the atmosphere.  Nitrogen (N2) 78.084%Oxygen (O2) 20.946%Argon (Ar) 0.934%Carbon dioxide.  You can't see air pressure but its strong then you think .  The greenhouse affect is when the sun rays hit the surface and some of the heat is trapped and the rest is sent back to space, And the gases Water vapor, Carbon dioxide, And methane. The importance of the layers of the atmosphere starting with the troposphere, The layer with weather, Stratosphere protects us from the sun, Mesosphere Protects us from meteors, The northern lights happen in the Thermosphere.
