Living on the Arabian Peninsula

I live on the Arabian Peninsula. I live in a very interesting place, most areas are dry but other areas have some water or a lot of water. The weather is very dramatic, it is either really hot or really cool. I would like to give advice to those of you who would like to live/visit the Arabian Peninsula.

Tip 1:

The first tip I would like to give you is to wear long, loose clothing. I say this because it is very hot during the day and cool at night. If you travel through the Peninsula then you would want to not be hot. Tight clothes are not a good idea.

Tip 2:

The second tip I have for you is to use water wisely because it is very rare and the Peninsula is very dry. It does not have a good rainfall unless you live on the mountains.

Tip 3&4:(Desert)

One tip I would give you about living in the desert is to travel with camels because they have good transportation, they could go a great distance without any water, they can carry at least 500 pounds on there backs.  The last tip for the desert is to live a Nomadic life. A nomad is someone who travels often and doesn't stay in one place for a long period of time. It saves you from having to deal with the same weather.

Tip 5&6:(Oases)

A tip for the oases is to dig wells and farming because it has good underground water. You can water all your crops with a well near the crops. Another tip for the oases is to have a permanent settlement so that you can work on your crops and have a good supply of fresh water. The land is a good place to stay at.

Tip 7&8:(Coastal Plains)

A tip for the coastal plains is to get water from a sea coming down the mountain. They have a good rainfall so the water would come down the mountain. Another tip is to use the sea for trading transportation. You can use the stream to go on a boat to another place.

Tip 9&10:(Mountains)

On top of a mountain is a good place to live because it is hard for intruders to get to you. You also have a good water system. If you live on a mountain you should probably grow a lot of crops because of the water, when the rainfalls it goes down the mountain.
