As they say: "it's hard to get where you're doing if you don't know where you're going". Sounds pretty simple but my number tip for focusing is to know what you're doing. Make a short list of what you need to get done each day/week/month and set a priority for doing those things.
My other tip would be to understand that distractions will happen but be better about preventing them. Have a signal (headphones on, door closed, etc) for "me time" and don't let anyone or anything interrupt you.
