"Sugar-Land is now at your fingertips!
Sugar Land has a lot of attractions for all the tourists that come. Since the name of the city has to do with Sugar one of the biggest attractions people would like to see is the Imperial Sugar Company. Imperial Sugar is the brand of sugar most probably everybody uses. The main sugar company is located there. It is the biggest company and the headquarters. The other are the golf courses and the parks. One of the most known parks in Sugar-Land is Oyster Creek it has many visitors every-day.
Well Sugar-Land is a well known city. Something big that happens a long time ago is the cause to what the city remains today. Stephen F. Austin brought those 300 families to Texas and one of those families started a sugar mill which eventually turned into a refinery. It changes the city today because to think that sugar that you eat every day was made from a factory that had to do with Stephen F. Austin.
