Addiction is a primary, complex brain disorder. According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), an estimated 20 million Americans aged 12 or older used an illegal drug in the past 30 days. Alcohol is the most commonly used addictive substance in the U.S. 17.6 million people, or one in every 12 adults, suffer from alcohol abuse or dependence along with several million more who engage in risky drinking patterns that could lead to alcohol problems.
You should never do drugs or drink alcohol, it will ruin your life. There are many reasons people do drugs. Most people use the excuse, "I have a bad life". To me, that isn't an excuse. Instead of drugs, turn to a counselor or family/friend to talk to. Some people want to do it to "have fun". trust me when I tell you in the long run, it wont be "fun". The longer you do drugs or drink alcohol, the harder it is to stop. There is nothing but bad things about it. If you need help click on that button. It could save your life.
