About Glynn Key
A veteran attorney, Glynn Key brings more than two decades of
experience to her position as general counsel to GE Water and Process
Technologies, a global leader in the water and wastewater treatment
solutions industry. Prior to her current role, Ms. Key held a number of
positions in the legal field, including partner with Wilmer Cutler
Pickering Hale and Dorr, LLP, and associate attorney at the firm of
Covington & Burling. Glynn Key also spent several years as associate
solicitor for the Department of the Interior, where she served as
counselor to Secretary Bruce Babbitt.
Ms. Key holds a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from the University of Virginia. An Echols Scholar and a Jefferson Scholar while attending the university, she belonged to organizations such as the Raven Society, the IMP Society, and the Honor Committee. From 2004 to 2012, she served as the chair of the educational committee for the university’s board of visitors.
An active figure in the field, Glynn Key has published influential articles on legal matters and corporate governance. In addition to her work with GE Water Process and Technologies, she sits on the board of trustees of the Thomas Jefferson Foundation.
