Nigeria

Duncan Eastman

I have observed that there are 60 or more children in this class, none of these 60 are smiling in the photograph, and they are all wearing similar clothes.

From these observations, I can infer that the school they are attending has a rule concerning uniforms and a very strict dress code. Additionally, I can tell that there is an insufficient amount of either classrooms or teachers to accommodate the amount of students, as far as US standards go.

From these inferences, I can predict that the youth literacy percentage in Nigeria is low compared to a country such as the US.
