The Gupta Empire existed from about 320 A.D to 550 A.D. and took up most of the Indian Subcontinent. The Gupta Empire is often known as the "Golden Age" of Indian culture because
during this period of Indian history, there was peace, progress and prosperity.
India's "Golden Age": came during the Gupta Empire- ChandraGupta started this empire.
Golden Age- A time in a culture's history where there are many cultural contributions.
