Location of Mesopotamia
If you moved to Mesopotamia, then you would be moving into an area called The Fertile Crescent. The Fertile Crescent is an area where lots of crops can grow more easily from the fertile land. If you moved to Mesopotamia then you would be moving in between two rivers, named the Euphrates river and the Tigris river.
Advantages for Living in Mesopotamia
Advantages you would get for living in Mesopotamia is that you would always be in between rivers, the Euphrates river and the Tigris river, and that means fresh water is always available and is never to far away.
You also have domesticated animals that you can get food from, and from cows milk, instead of having to go out and hunt for your food. Growing crops can make vegetables available, creating a stable food supply. Growing crops is what you call agriculture, another name for farming.
You would also learn their interesting culture, such as that they write with their words as wedge shaped characters instead of letters called cuneiform. They had temples called Ziggurats, where people would go to worship the gods, also the worship of many gods is called polytheism. You would also learn the code of laws by Hammurabi, who also was the ruler of the Babylonian Empire.
