About Greg Eriksen Tampa

Tampa resident Greg Eriksen majored in marketing and finance at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business, from which he earned his Bachelor of Science in 1999. After graduation, he joined the sales team at global pharmaceutical company Novartis AG. Greg Eriksen’s responsibilities included working with physicians and cardiologists in the Tampa area to familiarize them with one of the company’s hypertension medications, and later with the medication Zelnorm. He performed well and was recognized by Novartis for his consistent sales results.

Eriksen eventually joined Alveolus Medical, Inc., the manufacturer of several different stents and stent systems. He managed the firm’s sales in the southeastern United States. He achieved success at both Alveolus and Novartis through development of a thorough technical familiarity with the products he was promoting.

By 2010, when he joined Intuitive Surgical, Inc., Greg Eriksen had more than a decade of experience in sales, selling pharmaceuticals and medical devices to experts in their fields. Intuitive Surgical manufactures a state-of-the-art, minimally invasive surgical system called the Da Vinci Surgical Robotic Platform. This system gives a laparoscopic surgeon a great deal of flexibility and many of the capabilities he or she would have in open surgery. Currently serving as Intuitive Surgical’s Area Sales Manager for Central and North Florida, Eriksen markets the DaVinci system to surgeons as well as to hospital executives.

Outside of his thriving career, Greg Eriksen is a participant in many Tampa-area activities. He takes part in the events his church sponsors, coaches youth athletics at a nearby YMCA, and competes regularly in local sporting events.
