Radiologist Greg Thalken's Rise to Success
About Greg Thalken
Greg Thalken is a recent graduate of the University of Nebraska
Medical Center and has completed his residency at the University of
Minnesota, where he was named the 2011 Radiology Resident of the Year.
Having graduated with the highest distinction from Nebraska Wesleyan
University, Greg Thalken holds a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and
molecular biology with a minor in physics. At Nebraska Wesleyan, Dr.
Thalken was a two-year recipient of the American Academy of Family
Physicians Student Liaison Award and completed undergraduate research in
the area of liquid chromatography. Gregory Thalken completed his
residency at the University of Minnesota, where he also completed
fellowships in thoracoabdominal imaging and neuroradiology.
Gregory Thalken is a member of the American Board of Radiology and the American College of Radiology. He is also a member of the Twin Cities Medical Society and the Minnesota Medical Association. In his free time he keeps healthy by frequently engaging in sports and exercise.
