Gasses In The Atmosphere
The atmosphere consists of 5 gasses. The greatest consistency of gasses is Nitrogen. Then going down in consistency we have Oxygen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide/All Others.(-;See Graph Below ;-)
Layers Of The Atmosphere
The atmosphere consists of 5 layers. From down up we have the Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, Exosphere.(see picture below) If you didn't know we live in the Troposphere. It's the only one we could live in, all the others are either to cold or to hot. Most people think it just gets colder or hotter as you go up. Well actually there is a pattern, warm, cold, warm, cold, hot.(from down up)
Here are quite a few reasons why the atmosphere is so important. For starters it keeps us safe from being hit by meteors which is kinda nice. It also keeps us safe from asteroids, the cold vacuum of space, the dangerous sun rays, EXPLOSIONS and for some people aliens. It also keeps all the gasses we need to live in, and the ones we don't need out.
