Dr. Gul Moonis - Respected Radiology Professor
Maintaining affiliation with Harvard Medical School, Dr. Gul Moonis is a staff radiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). She provides residents and fellows with formal didactical instruction on various imaging and disease topics. Board-certified in diagnostic radiology, she has particular knowledge of multiple sclerosis and brain cancer, and has authored articles on temporal bone and hearing loss imaging. Gul Moonis, MD, sits on a number of educational committees, including the Radiology Resident Selection and Education committees.
Dr. Moonis’ background includes medical degree at the University of Delhi. She subsequently pursued residency training in nuclear medicine at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Moonis also undertook a diagnostic radiology residency at the Medical University of Ohio and a neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Gul Moonis, MD, has presented professionally in diverse settings, and was a BIDMC grand round speaker on “Recent Advances in Imaging of Cochlear Dysplasias” in 2011.
