Ebola

Where did the disease originate and how

Ebola first originated in Africa with one infected person.  Ebola is a disease of humans and other primates caused by ebolaviruses. Ebola will kill 25 and 90 percent of people that are infected. Ebola is caused by four of five viruses, one of them is the Ebola virus.

How did it spread

Ebola disease only can spread by direct contact with the blood or body fluids of a person who has developed symptoms of the disease. This virus is not transmitted through the air (like measles virus). Ebola is not very cottages but you can still get it. The virus can also spread through bodily fluids after the infected victim dies.

What does this say about the country

This says the country needs to stop people from coming in from different countries so the Ebola virus will stop spreading. If the U.S will stop doing this then we can limit the ebola virus in our country. If the U.S WILL NOT DO THIS THEN EVERY HUMAN WILL SOON HAVE THE EBOLA VIRUS AND ALL HUMANS WILL DIE.

how a major outbreak of this disease (an epidemic or pandemic) could affect a countries government

If this disease outbreaks then the government will have to limit the people coming in to  the U.S from other countries. If the government does this then Ebola will not occur as much as it is today. Also the government could go into isolation so people would not come to america and spread Ebola. When the U.s isolates it will also held terrorist coming over to spread the disease.

how a major outbreak of this disease (an epidemic or pandemic) could affect a countries economy

This would affect the economy because it would cost money by trying to find a cure for the disease. By spending more money each year the u.S WILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FORE VALUABLE THINGS. When the us keeps spend ing money then the us will start to fall and become a poor country.

How a major outbreak of this disease (an epidemic or pandemic) could affect a countries culture

It could affect a countries culture the disease could soon wipe out the human population. If the disease wipes out humans then humans will no longer continue there daily lifes. Also the disease could wipe out a specific family member and destroy the culture of thr family.
