Censorship in China

The Communist Party of China (PRC), the ruling government in China, censors subjects related to democracy, the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, Maosim, ethnic independence movements, police brutality, disparity of wealth,  news sources that report on these issues.

"If you open the window for fresh air, you have to expect some flies to blow in."

Deng Xiaoping, the leader of China from 1978-1992. He is considered the architect of the modern era.
