Basic Facts

Zeus is the principal god of Greek pantheon, ruler of the heavens and father of the gods and mortal heroes. He is known for throwing lightning bolts. Between Zeus and his two brothers (Poseidon & Hades), over threw their father Cronus. Then they drew a ballot to see who was the next ruler of the gods and Zeus won the draw.

Family Relationships

Zeus mother and father's name is Cronus and Rhea. He has two other brothers and a sister, Poseidon, Hades and Hera, which are also gods. Zeus is also married to his sister Hera. Zeus had 10  kids in his lifetime and only three of them were with Hera. As you can see Zeus is famous for his many affairs.
