Description of career

The average USA lawyer earns around $114,300 according to a study held in 2013. The best-paid lawyers earned more than $187,199, while the lowest-paid made less than $55,170. The lawyers that get very good amounts of money due to their job are located in  San Jose, California, San Francisco and New York City.

Lawyers advise and represent individuals, businesses, and government agencies on legal issues and disputes.

The majority of lawyers work in private and corporate legal offices. Some work for local, state, and federal governments. The majority work full time, and many work for very long hours but the salary is really good.

All lawyers must have a law degree and must also typically pass a state’s written bar examination in order to become lawyer. Usually, the lawyers that are the most prestigious among a community have a doctorate's degree.

Employment of lawyers is projected to grow 10 percent from 2012 to 2022, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Competition for jobs will always be very harsh as there will always be more graduates than jobs available.

Becoming a lawyer usually takes 7 years of study after high school—4 years of undergraduate study, followed by 3 years of law school. Most states and jurisdictions require lawyers to complete a juris doctor (J.D.) degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA).

Attending university opens a vast variety of opportunities in an individual’s life that may help trigger success. In order for a human to receive a good job opportunity, college and university education is always needed as this experience helps you be more prepared in different challenges that life might bring upon a person. I believe that I deserve to attend the university of my choice as this could help me gain the adequate education needed in order to be a successful individual in life and be more hungry towards learning new things.

Attending the university of your choice is important because you know what this school may offer you and how it can greatly influence the education of your future. Education will always speak greatly about a character as it shows that you have a wide viewpoint in many topics and that you have a good knowledge that may be implied in different situations. A great example of how attending college helps an individual is Martin Luther King. This character received university education and that is how he grew to be such a wise man who influenced society in an amazing way as the equality of rights movement was lead by him. Many positive outcomes are faced by having the opportunity to attend a university and receive a high level education that can help you influence a whole country just how Martin Luther King did.

Personally, I believe that if I was accepted into the University of my choice, I would be more eager to learn. I obviously choose that School for a purpose and being accepted into this facility would make my self-esteem rise and even affect my grades in a positive way as I would have a better outlook towards learning in the school of my choice. A clear example of this is my cousin. Her name is Michelle and she worked very hard in order to be accepted into the University she wanted, which was the Grand Canyon University. Due to her acceptance in this school, she has had a very positive view towards learning and is willing to learn more as she gained her acceptance into this university through hard work and dedication. As this example, there are many others that apply to the topic of why I deserve to attend the university of my choice.

Attending a university is one of the greatest experiences that an individual may go through as it builds character and is full of learning. Attending the college of my choice will have very good outcomes as I know that there are various factors that made me make the decision to attend this college. Now think about this, if you had the chance to attend a university that you worked hard for and gave it your all, do you think it would be fair for you to not attend this school regardless of your effort and hard work?

To whom it may concern,

I am applying for my acceptance into the University of California at Los Angeles. (UCLA) I would like to study the field of criminal justice in order to become a lawyer.

I am interested in studying in the field of criminal justice in order to one day become a criminal lawyer. I am currently involved in different school projects which have challenged my patience and enhanced my ability of working under pressure. Patience is a key factor as it could help myself stay calm through tough situations and and not panic as it could lead to taking a regretting decision. This goes in hand with working well under pressure as making decisions is a very important key to success and gain recognition among a population.

Leadership is also another quality that I personally believe I contain as throughout my high school experience, I was chosen as group leader in several projects that were crucial in order to receive a good grade. Having the ability of being a leader has helped me be a more independent individual and this could help my lawyer career as this skill is needed in almost every job in order to be more hungry towards success.

I believe that I am a very good candidate for this university as I could benefit a lot from this school’s programs and my knowledge in all subjects would increase as I am eager to learn the fundamentals of my profession. I would like to receive the opportunity of an interview so that I can express my willing to learn in more detail.

Thank you for your consideration and taking the time to read this letter.
