Rwandan Genocide

The Rwandan Genocide happened in the country of Africa from April 7 - July 15, 1994. The main targeted people were the Tutsi population. In the image above, a man shows several scars across his face and head from when he was hit with a machete. The image below is a refugee camp in the aftermath of the genocide in 1994. There were around 100,000 refugees that fled the country during the genocide.
