About Hannah Martin-Duarte
Hannah Martin-Duarte studies broadcast journalism and Spanish in Southern California. Recently, she interned with Gilt City in Los Angeles, where she researched and designed leads for online deals. Furthermore, she represented the company at events where she worked directly with local members of Gilt City Los Angeles. Hannah Martin-Duarte's Internet experience also includes a period as website contributor at MyStyle.com, an online property owned by The Style Network.
Complementing her academic work, Hannah Martin-Duarte was a leading cast member for 3 seasons on the global hit television show Big Rich Texas, a docudrama exploring relationships between mothers and daughters who reside in the Dallas area. She also provided on-camera fashion advice that are featured in Big Rich Texas short films. Prior to starring on Big Rich Texas she was a leading cast member for 10 episodes on the docu series Dallas Divas and Daughters - also original programming developed by NBC Universal/Comcast and The Style Network, a program that was spun off as Big Rich Texas.
In her private life, Martin-Duarte stays active by hiking and scuba diving. For entertainment, she enjoys reading classic science fiction works by the likes of Kurt Vonnegut and George Orwell. A world traveler, the student has visited Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. Hannah is a member of the Alliance for Women in Media and the Delta Gamma fraternity.
