One of the reasons on why Mesopotamia is advanced is because, of their great creation known as the wheel. Mesopotamians were the first people to create the wheel. It was the most important invention. They used the wheel for transportation and used it to make a potters wheel. They also used it to make chariots. One group known as the Assyrians was the first army to use the chariots as a weapon. They rode in front of the enemy soldiers on their chariots and shot them with bow and arrows.

Another reason on why Mesopotamia is advanced is because, of their irrigation. Irrigation was a way of saving their water. To make irrigation they dug up large storage basins to hold water. Before they made irrigation, not a lot of rain would fall for their crops. When there was a lot of rain, it flooded the area killing several crops, homes, and livestock. Farmers new they had to control the water. That's when irrigation was created.
