Menopause is a natural decline in estrogen and progesterone when a woman reaches a certain age. Menopause usually happens to women in their late 40's or 50's. A way of knowing you're going through menopause is not having your menstrual cycle for a full year. More symptoms are hot flashes, anxiety, mood swings, tenderness in your vaginal area, vaginal dryness, breast discomfort, and depression. There are many more symptoms to go along. Smoking and surgeries can lead to early menopause. There is no treatment although you can go to hormone therapy. Menopause can only happen to woman usually older woman although its not common it can happen at a younger age.
