About Heather Lueke Smith
Having accumulated more than a decade of legal experience, Heather Lueke Smith currently works in private practice in Fort Pierce, Florida. Prior to beginning her career, she attained a bachelor of arts in English from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. As an undergraduate student, she spent a summer studying in Florence, Italy, and served as editor-in-chief of the Undergraduate Government Literary Magazine. Heather Lueke Smith earned her JD from the William and Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, Virginia. While a law student, she held a position as a staff member at the William and Mary Bill of Rights Journal.
Following her admittance to the Florida Bar, Ms. Smith became a central staff attorney in the Second District Court of Appeal in Lakeland, Florida. In this role, she was responsible for the assessment of requests for emergency relief and the evaluation of motions on non-perfected cases. Today, in her private practice, she focuses on litigation, contract, local government, and construction matters. In 2006, she was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is a board certified lawyer in Florida.
