So Important Thing About Plantation Life Is Everyone haves to sleep on the floor with no blanket. They get whip if they don't get enough work done or mess up. Very many of their sleeping hours are consumed in preparing for the field the coming day. Life on the fields to them meant working sunup to sundown six days a week and having food sometimes not suitable for an animal to eat. Africa American were enslaved on same farms & large plantation.
