Girls Basketball Team Makes School History
The Indians Girls Basketball team reached new heights last week for their program. For the first time in program history, the girls basketball team reached the championship game in Wells Fargo Arena. The team was strong in the first half, but then struggled with some of Nevada's height in the second half. The Indians fell just short of bringing home the gold, as they lost to Nevada 54-58. Sophomores Faith Meyer and Elle Ruffridge were given the honor of being on the All Tournament team. Ruffridge was given the special honor of being named the team captain. The girls left everything they had on the floor, and the community couldn't be any prouder of the team.
