Hiroshima, Love and Loss
This picture reminded me of loss because when people lose a person or something they express their feelings through crying, such as the Hiroshima bombing where many people lost their lives.
This is, perhaps, one of the most amazing and moving songs in the world. It starts out as Whitney saying good bye, please don't cry because she is leaving. This can relate to the deaths lost in Hiroshima. Then she sings 'and I will always love you' implying that she will never forget them even when she is gone just like all of the lives lost in Hiroshima.
This video is about is about a Japanese man helping others around him when he gets nothing in return. He reminded me of Father Kleinsorge, Reverand Tanimoto and other after the bomb.
If I were able to aid survivors from Hiroshima I would be a care giver. A care giver is someone who comforts people and teaches them to be brave. Most survivors felt that there was not a reason to live any more and I would help them find their path and journey.
A town filled with fear
For people knew that death was near
Then the bomb was dropped
It was caused by the bomb
People became sick and others were full of hatred
People would not stay calm
Many came to help
For it was the first Atomic bomb
Oh, Oh, one self
The bravest of them all
For they were known as hibakusha
The greatest and bravest Japanese of all
