A Special Teacher, Mrs. Peggy
Dan Rather once quoted, "The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth." Everyone loved this sweet and loving lady, Mrs. Peggy Haygood. So many people were at her visitation and funeral. Missing your special or favorite teacher is so heart breaking.
Mrs. Peggy taught kindergarden, she loved what she did. All the kid's loved her, and she loved when she could put a smile on a kid's face. Being the loving lady she was, she would pull people's teeth for them. Mrs. Peggy would do the best she could everyday of her life to be as caring as she could. Having just passed away, Mrs. Peggy Haygood is still very much in the hearts of the people she touched.
People would say that she was a special teacher and their favorite. She was a special teacher because she would do anything for her students before herself, and teaching so many kids, adults, and teenagers about life lessons. Every time she would see someone she knew she would ask how he or she was doing. If students was mad or sad or depressed she would find a way to make them happy.
Lives have changed tremendously since she has passed away. Her daughter was crushed, as well as family, friends, and students. At her visitation she didn't even look like herself. It was a shocking tragedy for something so awful happen to such a sweet lady.
Losing the most truthful, honest, loving, caring, and sweetest lady ever will have to be the hardest thing ever. A teacher affects eternity. "A truly special teacher is very wise and sees tomorrow in every child's eyes," said an unknown author. This quote describes exactly how Mrs. Peggy was. We will remember you... See you again one day.
