Global warming is caused by an imbalance of carbon in the air. This imbalance is caused because we use too much oil and gas. As this happens the amount of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere increase. This as the name implies makes heat stay in the atmosphere making the temperature go up.


This graph show the sedately increasing temperature over the last 150 years.

All this affects migration patterns because birds migrate in order to stay warm and mate. If it is warm where they currently are then they don’t think they should have to move. This means that they don’t breed as often as they should. If they keep doing this then they could become endangered or extinct.

What we all may never see again...
