Words…There are THOUSANDS! MILLIONS! And somehow, I can seem to say all of them in one conversation. I’m like a flowing river, I never stop making noise, and that makes me loquacious.
If you know me, you know that I never really shut up. Most people think it’s a bad thing because it may be annoying, but in reality, it may help me. It may be good because I voice all my thoughts (maybe that’s why I complain so much). But I never have a miscommunication with people.
I know that I really am loquacious because once when I was about two years old, I talked all the way home from my grandparents’ house. That’s a two hour drive and for a toddler that’s a lot of talking. I can’t even imagine how long I could go for now!
I get this from my two grandmothers, but mostly my grandma, Mae. She talked so much that when she passed away, my uncle (to make light of the situation), cracked a joke. “I’ve never seen her so quiet!” he laughed.
I am loquacious and I am grateful for this trait. My mouth runs on batteries and it’s a good thing. I am excited to see where this will take me in life and I love being loquacious.
