Forgotten Scars

As I walked through the parks and trails of my childhood I noticed all the trees had engraved initials, signs, and symbols and then I wonder to myself "Do these people remember these are here or when they did them ?". As we grow older we forget the little things that made us smile once in our lives, those little things shouldn't be taken for granted or forgotten. This picture shows the scars of romance, a childhood, maybe even some ones last action before death. Trees show an everlasting timeline and that is why I believe this photo is so beautiful.
