A Transcendentalist's Blog

Many critics believe that Transcendentalism's beliefs on Individualism and Morality are ridiculous and hogwash. But why? It is rather logical, after all. Why is it so hard to believe that people become better because they learned from their mistakes, and gained better morality from it? Or that people who work to better themselves alone, and society or a church, can achieve what they want. Just because you do not attend church or town festivals does that make you a lesser man? No, transcendentalists believe that sort of action is fine, and that it leads you to becoming a better person.
