Hooters

Hooters was founded in Clearwater , Florida on April 1,st 1983. By L.d Stewart, Gil DiGiannantonio, “Uncle Billy” Ranieri, Ed Droste, Dennis Johnson and Ken Wimmer. Six mean who had never even opened a restaurant before! The six men "decided to open a place they couldn’t get kicked out of.'' The name Hooters actually came from a famous comedian at the the time.

The Hooters owners were convinced that their idea was so amazing that it shouldn't be confined to just its restaurant status so they took a chance and tried to endorse their name else where. All of the following the idea that turned out great. Like sports,  Hooters had a great run as title sponsor of the National Golf Association Hooters Pro Golf Tour from 1988 to 2011. But they didn't just stop there they opened a Hooters Air Airline in 2003, during their greatest point in time the  airline was active in over 15 famous cities including Las Vegas until its untimely closing in 2006 because of industry problems. While is was the end of a fantastic airline it was just the start of Hooters hotel Las Vegas the hotel had 700 rooms that gave you both the Hooters and Vegas experience.

While it may seem like just a restaurant Hooters restaurant has contributed a lot besides Airlines, Sports endorsements and A really cool hotel. It has also brought a great amount of business to the states in which it has opened, which when you think about is there are 450 Hooters in 43 states in the United States of America.
