Sleep is important because it helps your brain shut down and have a chance to relax before the next day. It also helps your brain think and process all that's happened in the day. When you sleep it helps reduce stress. So if you have had a stressful day it is good to have a good nights sleep, but don't sleep too long or otherwise It isn't healthy for your body. :)
You need around 9.25 hours of sleep!
Tips to sleep better:
~turn off all distractions which includes phones and laptops!
~don't eat sugar before bed! ex) energy drinks, caffeine and sugary snacks!
~have a nice warm shower or bath before bed to calm your nerves
~be more active in the day and go outside so you get fresh air
~sleep in a dark room
