Working Hard

Last summer, I was working hard for Central's soccer teams: Varsity, Jr. Varsity, and Freshman tryouts. I had to do a lot of fitness and learn new skills to prepare for the tryouts. I was expecting a lot of running like running a mile or 2 around the stadium, but it wasn't like that at all, it was a lot of mini games in groups of 3-5 players and working together as a team.

In one of the practice games(we were playing on the whole field), I score a goal and it was a big deal to me because it was my first goal of the day and it showed to the coaches that I can score goals. On the second day, the coaches were ready to pick the players for the 3 teams, lucky there was enough players for each team, so no one was out. I was on the freshman team, so I knew that I had to work really hard for next year if I want to play for J-V or Varsity, but I was happy with team I was on.
