It breaks up and carries away the rocks and soil that make up Earth surface it is called Erosion. It is caused by flowing water, glaciers, wind, and waves. It constantly charge the shape of the landscape. It is quicker on bare rock which is unprotected by soil. It starts with weathering where rocks are weakened by the weathering elements.

Coastal Erosion
Waves erode the base of cliffs, undermining them and making them collapse. This  can create coastal features such as the Twelve Apostles
Glacial Erosion
Mountain ranges contain deep valleys that are curved out by glaciers. A glacier is like a slow moving river of ice that flows downhill.
