CPR Cheat Sheet
Check the scene. Call 9-1-1. For adults you do two hands between their nipples and 30 compression at the rate of 100 per minute you go down 2 inches into the chest. Then repeat process. For children you use the heel of your hand at 30 compression between the nipples at the rate of 100 per minute going down 1/3 of the chest. Then repeat process.
Check to make sure the scene is safe. Call 9-1-1For infants you use two fingers and do 30 compression between the nipples at the rate of 100 per minute you go down about 1/3 of the chest. Then repeat process.
Infant Conscious chocking
Check if the baby is conscious. Call 9-1-1. Then you turn it over and head below its feet then do 5 hits on the back then flip it over 5 chest compression see if anything is in the throat do a finger sweep and give two breaths if it doesn't come out repeat process.
Adult/child Conscious chocking
Check the scene. Call 9-1-1 Ask if the person is chocking. Sit them up right and squeeze the stomach and keep doing squeezes until the object comes out.
Adult/child unconscious chocking
Check the scene. Call 9-1-1. Do 30 chest compression at the rate of 100 per minute. Open airways.Check for object if their is one finger sweep it out with your pinky. Then do 2 one second breaths. If they don't go in reposition then do two more breaths. Then continue CPR until object comes out.
Infant unconscious choking
Check the scene to make sure its safe. Call 9-1-1. Start your 30 compressions at the rate of 100 per minute. Open the airways. Check for an object if their is one sweep it out with your pinky finger. Then take 2 one second breaths if they don't go in repsoition the victim and take two more and repeat process.
Check the person. Call 9-1-1. Direct pressure use a pad on the spot and wrap guase around it elevate if no fracture suspected. If no guase or pad available use a shirt. Make sure their skin color is not changing dramaticaly or skin temperature to make sure if the bandage is not too tight.
