Iowa Central's Business Competition

On Wednesday, April 8, Pocahontas Area students went to Iowa Central Community College and competed at their business competition.  Indians did very well especially in  Accounting.  They placed 7 out of the 8 places with Nick Wiemers (first), Kate Vonnahme (second), Dan Proctor (third), Devon Weidauer (fourth), Aaron Aljets (fifth), Tanner Youngberg (sixth), and Rose Meyer (seventh).  Nick Wiemers placed third while Kate Vonnahme placed fifth in Computerized Accounting.  Jesse O'Tool placed fifth in Computer Objective.  Amanda Von Dolteren won Human Relations.  Ashley Peterson won Precision Measurement.  Devon Weidauer won Marksmanship.  Hannah Boysen won while Tyler Case placed third in Hospitality.  Tyler Case placed third and Janie Brinkman placed fifth in History Law Enforcement.  Autumn Seiler placed Job Seeking Skills.
