Recruitment usually is the process of searching for employees to fill a vacant position. Selection is the aftermath that consists of choosing and discarding possible employees.
A CV is an important document you give to the CEO of a company to overlook your past, when applying for a job it is like a description of yourself on paper perfectly presented.
An application form is the most vital form for a job seeker. The application form defines the formality of the possible future employee of the company in question. Companies such as KFC and McDonald's require an application form.
Person Specification is the description of a person achievements, accomplishments and skills/qualifications.
Shortlisting is deciding which few employees were the best and should get the job. This usually means that only 3 employees are called up.
