Exponents

THE TINY NUMBERS IN THE CORNER

Exponents are quite simple. If you have a problem that has a little number in the corner, you just multiply the big number by itself however many times the little number says.

Here are a couple example problems to help you out:

1. 5⁴=

2. 2⁶=

Now it's your turn.

1. 2⁵=

2. 5³=

3. 3⁶=

4. 7³=

5. 4⁰=

Any number with 0 as an exponent equals 1.

1. 1^0=

2. 8^0=

3. 4,183,659,302^0=

Congratulations! You have acquired new knowledge of exponents. I applaud you.
