Summer day 3

Monday, June 2, 2014

After staying up pretty late the previous night, I let myself sleep till 11:30. After this I started off the day with a delicious breakfast, although it was 12:30.  I ate 2 fried eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 pieces of toast, 4 pieces of bacon and my personal favorite, hash browns.

About an hour after breakfast we headed to Marshall's which is possibly the best store ever. While searching the racks at Marshall's I found some very cute clothing including 2 pairs of shorts and a new bikini. Next stop, target. I think we all know that no shopping trip is done without going to target. And my favorite thing to buy at target... Bikinis.

I hopes of finding a new favorite bikini to go with my collection, we headed for target.  Although I never leave empty handed, I was disappointed with the small selection and lack of size small bikinis. A sad day, I know, but I still left with a super cute bikini top.

Now it was time to head home and get ready for dance.  It was expected to be a sad day it being because it was our last class till next fall, and worst of all it was my last class with possibly the best ballerina and ballet teacher I have ever had. In hopes to eat before dance I went a couple hours early.

There are many selections around my dance studio including Mexican, Chinese, Italian, and of course a fast food place that  has very good French fries that are hard to resist. In hopes of choosing a healthier choice (not by much) I chose pizza. I was craving a cheese calzone but when going to pay I was told that visa gift cards that expire in 2023 are not excepted. The only problem is that I was still hungry!

Then my friend, being the nice person she is, offered to pay for me. So we go sit down to our table and wait for our food which was very delicious.  Although this day was going to be sad, there was still one more fun thing that was going to happen.  My friend decided to play a trick on my dance teacher. Her plan was to come into dance class on the last day with a boot on her foot and crutches.

She hoped the teachers would freak out considering it is less than a week till our annual recital.... And they did. And trust me there are pictures for proof. After this and a quick snack from the vending machine, because a girl can't have enough food, we began our last class.  I'm not going to get into the details because I know ballet can be boring to some people, but all in all it was a great last class.

I finished off the night watching the foster, yes again, and ended up going to bed around two. Although this happened occasionally throughout the school year, it was different because I knew there was no school the next day. And that was just another perfect end to another perfect summer day.

By for now, abbey
