Kurt's Childhood

When Kurt was 8, his parents marriage began to fall apart. His mom and dad divorced in 1975. In 1978, Kurt began to pick on his stepbrother and as a response, Kurt's dad began to beat him. Kurt was always being passes around to one family member to another. Around that time, Kurt began to cut classes and skip school entirely. Six weeks before graduation, Kurt dropped out of school.

His mother, Wendy Cobain, came from a very musical family.
