Christmas in Spain!

Christmas is a major deal in Spain! Their traditions include many things including The Mass of the Rooster. Which occurs every year because it is believed that a rooster crowed the night Jesus was born. A big tradition that others do is to stuff a turkey with mushroom truffles for the dinner. Another tradition in Spain is that people love to have bonfire and jump over the fire symbolizing protection against illness.

Spain Christmas celebrations are much different than here. Most people around here keep the normal traditions such as putting up a Christmas tree, getting together with the family, and doing other activities such as Secret Santa.

Overall, these Christmas celebrations are very different. A lot of kids in the U.S. now are in a strong belief of Santa, where in Spain some kids are taught to not rely on Santa for Christmas and the kids are taught high religious beliefs.

Great pictures, Adam and the video was an excellent addition. Keep your tone a little more serious when presenting your information...remember this is a class project. Be careful about making statements without siting where you found the information (ex. strong beliefs in Santa and high religious beliefs).
