Cell Membrane

A Cell Membrane can be found in both a plant and animal cell. In the plant cell it protects the cell and regulates what substances enter and leave the cell as well as the animal cell.

An example of a Cell Membrane would be an shoe box because it allows air to come in and out of the box.Another example would be the skin of an animal and the bark of a tree both perform he same function as a Cell Membrane. They enclose and control what enters and leave the object that it is protecting.

Another thing that relates to the Cell Membrane is the.Cell Wall is the tough, usually flexible but sometimes fairly rigid layer that surrounds some types of cell. Its also located outside the Cell Membrane and provides support and protection.
