Henry Hudson's early life
Henry Hudson was an English explorer.He was born in the late 16th century in London, England. He was born into a family of eight brothers and five sisters. He married a woman named Katherine and has three children. His children's names are John, Oliver, and Richard. Henry Hudson was hired by Muscovy in England to find a quick route to Asia. He sailed to England, Holland. Hudson explored the coasts of Green Land, Iceland, and many other islands on Arctic Ocean. While Henry Hudson was on this third Journey, he began the first European to map and explore the Hudson River region.
Where did Henry Hudson go?
Henry Hudson was in Europe, he wanted to go to Asia to trade goods with them. Instead he traveled a different location and landed in North America. Without know he thought North America was Asia. Hudson thought the Native American were the Asian people.
Henry Hudson owns three boats, he named the boats Half Moon, Discovery, and Hopewell. Hopewell is a small old boat. Hopewell weighs a total of a ton.
