The Gupta empire was founded by Maharaja Sri Gupta and it lasted from 320 to 550 CE. The Gupta empire was the golden age of India because of the peace during Gupta rule India was able to create ideas and inventions that we still use today.
The Gupta empire was most known for its improvement in math and science. They created the concept of zero, the decimal system, negative numbers, and algebra. The empire was also known for its influence on Hindu art. Even though the empire was created during a war the empire was peaceful and was an opportunity for a lot of inventing and good ideas.
