Adult CPR:
-Check the scene
-Check the patient

-Compressions
Do 30 compressions

Child CPR:
-Check the scene
-Check the child
-Call 9-1-1
-Compressions
30 compressions
1 to 1 1/2 inches deep
1/3 the depth of chest
1 to 2 hands
Center of chest (sternum)
-Breathing
Give 2 rescue breaths

Infant CPR:
-Check the scene
-Check the infant
-Call 9-1-1
-Compressions
30 compressions
100/minute
1/2 to 1 inch deep
1/3 the depth of chest
2 fingers
-Breathing
Give 2 rescue breaths


Adult/Child Conscious Choking:
-Stand behind the victim (if needed lower down to their level of height)
-Place the flat side of your fist just above the patients bellybutton and grab the back of your fist with your other hand.
-Do abdominal thrusts, pulling upward and inward until the object comes out or until the patient becomes unconscious.

Infant Conscious Choking:
-Support the infant's face and place body on forearm, keep the head lower than the feet.
-Do 5 backblows between the shoulder blades with the palm of your hand.
-Support the infant's head and turn the baby over onto your other forearm and give 5 chest thrusts.
-Continue backblows and chest thrusts until object comes out or until the infant becomes unconscious.


Adult Unconscious Choking:
-Check the patient
-Activate EMS, Call 9-1-1.
-Give 30 chest compressions
-Check the mouth for a foreign object, if seen sweep it out with your finger.
-Attempt 2 rescue breaths
-If breaths don't make the chest rise, reposition head and reattempt rescue breaths.
-Give 30 chest compressions
-If victim is still unconscious and not breathing normally, continue CPR with cycles of 30 compressions to 2 breaths.

Child Unconscious Choking:
-Check the patient
-Activate EMS, Call 9-1-1
-Give 30 chest compressions
-Check the mouth for a foreign object, if seen sweep it out with your finger.
-Attempt 2 rescue breaths
-If breaths don't make the chest rise, reposition head and reattempt rescue breaths.
-Give 30 chest compressions
-If victim is still unconscious and not breathing normally, continue with CPR with 30 compressions to 2 breaths.

Infant Unconscious Choking:
-Check the infant
-Activate EMS, Call 9-1-1
-Give 30 chest compressions
-Check the mouth for a foreign object, if seen sweep it out with your pinky finger.
-Attempt 2 rescue breaths.
-If breaths don't make the chest rise, reposition head and reattempt rescue breaths.
-Give 30 chest compressions
-If victim is still unconscious and not breathing normally, continue CPR with 30 compressions to 2 breaths.


Bleeding:
-Use gauze pads and put pressure on it.
-Once the bleeding is under control wrap a bandage around the gauze pad.
-Never take away, if needed always add onto it.
-Elevate above the heart, Activate EMS and watch for recurrence of bleeding, if this happens add on more bandage and wrapping and get them to the hospital.
