The Tang Dynasty
The Tang Dynasty came after the Han Dynasty and before the Song empire.
Much of Japanese and Korean culture was borrowed from the Chinese during the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty influenced Japan and Korea with Buddhism, the writing system, confucianism and respect for nature.
The Silk Road helped the Dynasty extend westward. It connected China with western cultures.
The Tang dynasty contributed gunpowder, the compass, the mechanical clock, porcelain, the spinning wheel, and block printing.
