Vladimir Ilyich Lenin (ruthless)

Lenin was the revolutionary leader of the Bolsheviks that overthrew the Romanov family. He wanted a Communist system of government.

His main goal was a Soviet government run by peasants, workers, and the proletariat class, and the removal of the bourgeoisie from power.

Lenin left behind quite a legacy. The combination of his ideals and Marx's became knows as Marxism-Leninism, which evolved into the modern Communism. He ended the Russian Royal family and put power in the hands of the people. He and his party also signed the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, ending Russia's involvement in World War I.
