Welcome to Congo Kinshasa
By Tyler K.
Kongo kinshasa is known for its rain forests. These rain forests contain Silver back gorillas, The Okapi, The white Rhino, and many more. It has 11 provinces including: Bandundu, Katanga, Kinshasa, Maniema, and Orientale.
The men mainly wear a tang top/t-shirt with some jeans or shorts and the women wear head scarfs and skirts. Some meals that they eat are Muamba Nsusu and Yufu (chicken soup and yam porridge). The food tastes really good if you know how to cook it! They eat with their hands for tradition.
Congo Kinshasa's holidays are similar to ours as an example Christmas and New Years day. They celebrate another holiday called Hero's day on January 17th. This is the day Lumumba was assassinated due to political reasons and was claimed a hero. He has a movie about his life.
